Fees

Fees generally vary by service and case complexity, and will be discussed with you prior to our first meeting.   For therapy services, I offer a sliding fee scale based primarily upon gross household income.  Assessment and consultation fees are generally performed at a fixed, hourly rate, based upon the required service.  I do take credit and debit cards, including Flexible Spending Account (FSA) cards.  My services are generally considered an allowable healthcare expense for FSA purposes.

I do not file insurance claims for you, but upon request, I will provide you with all of the information that you should need to make a claim. You may receive reimbursement from your insurance provider if you have “out of network” benefits.  This has been successful for a number of my clients.  Of course, plans vary, particularly with regard to mental health coverage, and you will need to discuss reimbursement with your insurance provider if you would like to pursue this option.

Many families find that my fees are reasonable and within their reach. However, if this is not the case for you, there are a number of other service providers in the community that may be able to meet your needs. (Click here for more information.)

If your family is being affected by military service in Iraq or Afghanistan, please contact Give An Hour for information on free mental health services.
